Cherry Sculpture by Selma Calheira

DD013-1

The cherry in clay with natural pigments is one of the creations of Brazilian artist Selma Abdon Calheira. The deep, realistic colors of the pears literally come from the ground in far Brazil. The ceramic objects are created in Bahia, on the North Atlantic coast. Each piece is unique and hand-made, including the dark wood stalk.
For the brown stems of the cherry, tree trunks are used. Each cherry is therefore unique. This decoration is only suitable for your interior.
