OUTDOORS

As the project evolved from a second home to a permanent residence, Peggy designed the entire home to reflect her clients' vision and lifestyle. They preferred a clean, modern aesthetic with black as the dominant color, accented by vibrant touches. One of the standout features is the staircase with its tall ceiling, highlighted by three sizes of black Moooi random lights. The wall behind the staircase, visible from the ground to the third floor, features large-scale geometric wallpaper from Harlequin paired with clean black lines. Custom wall paneling connects the kitchen, dining room, and living room, while a floating media unit in the living room adds functionality and elegance.

In the kitchen, Peggy Dupuis maintained the existing layout and appliances but gave the space a fresh, modern look. She replaced the door fronts, drawer fronts, side panels, backsplash, and countertops, selecting materials for their quality and aesthetic appeal. A standout feature is the island with a stunning waterfall finish, providing a seamless and elegant surface. Peggy also introduced a floating metal display shelving system above the island. This innovative addition offers practical storage and serves as a visually captivating focal point, showcasing decorative items or stylish cookware.

Peggy also created a unique family game room inspired by Basquiat's vibrant art. The Basquiat-inspired wallpaper features bold colors, lines, and abstract shapes, creating an energetic atmosphere. The room is equipped with a pinball machine and a TV for video games, becoming the hub of family fun. In the powder room, black penny tiles on the main wall create a dramatic backdrop, complemented by black matte metal fixtures and a subtle yellow paint accent. The floating vanity maximizes space and contributes to the minimalist aesthetic. The master bedroom features circular wall sculptures with a silver sheen and handcrafted wallpaper from ELITIS. The custom headboard, with floating nightstands and LED lights, adds modern sophistication. In the master bathroom, new drawer fronts, a waterfall-edged countertop, a redesigned mirror, and harmonized floor tiles create a cohesive transformation. Additionally, Peggy designed an outdoor space with rhythmic slatted walls and LED lights, creating a lounge-like ambiance perfect for relaxation and entertainment.
